Child & Teen Mental Health

Support for children and adolescents that respects development, personality, family context and the many ways young people communicate distress.

Understanding what behaviour may be saying.

Children and adolescents do not always have the language to explain what they are feeling. Emotional difficulty may appear through behaviour, withdrawal, anger, anxiety, school concerns, sleep changes or reduced confidence.

Therapy provides an age-appropriate space to build emotional awareness and coping while considering the wider family and school environment.

01

Emotional awareness

Help young people recognise, name and express feelings more safely.

02

Confidence & coping

Support self-esteem, anxiety management, transitions and everyday challenges.

03

Family context

Where appropriate, include parent guidance and communication support around the child.

Work with children and adolescents may include conversations, reflective activities and developmentally appropriate creative approaches.
